Advanced Studies Program

The Advanced Studies Program (ASP) at St. Paul’s School is a prestigious five-week residential summer program for New Hampshire’s best high school students that prepares them to apply for and succeed at university. Halley is a proud alum of the ASP and was thrilled to return as assistant director.

As assistant director, she led the program’s marketing efforts on social media and email with a team of two interns. She posted content daily on the social media accounts, such as photos, graphics, and Reels. Halley’s team also planned Instagram takeovers, which allowed students to show “a day in the life” at the ASP. In five weeks, she increased Instagram followers by 35%. She also started email newsletters to increase engagement with alumni and parents.

During the final two weeks of the fiscal year, she led a successful fundraising campaign through social media and email targeting young alumni of the summer program. As a result, 80% of gifts during the campaign were made by first-time donors, creating a critical new pipeline of funding.

In preparation for the 2022 session, Halley planned and wrote copy for the admissions booklet and collaborated with a video editor to produce admissions videos on academics and student experience at the ASP featuring student interviews.

In addition to managing communications and fundraising for the ASP, she assisted the director in the day-to-day operations of the program. This included planning activities for students and responding to crises.
